HISTORY
MCGORDON CONSULTING GROUP INC.
MCG came into being in response to the expressed need for management consultancy services in Cebu, the Queen City of the South, which for decades now has been known for its vibrant businesses and fertile ground for investment in ICT sector, tourism, real estate, and a lot more industries in other parts of the country and even beyond.
It all started with a spark of vision when MCG’s founding chair, a social technology, real estate and corporate lawyer, saw a very promising boom in business not only in Cebu but throughout the Philippine archipelago. In his frequent travels to major cities in the country, he saw the mushrooming of high rise buildings, influx of tourists and the rapidly growing innovations in cyber and digital space and in ICT and telecom industries, some of the vital signs of a flourishing economy. In the same travels, not a few expressed to MCG’s founding chair their need for a helping hand that could assist them in going through the ropes of developing and managing businesses from out of the opportunities around.
The observation was shared by the other founders, resulting in the pledging of commitments and pooling of resources to work together in making the prospective clients great.
MCGORDON CONSULTING GROUP INC. was officially born with its registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 13, 2013.
